The history of the art of pottery in Iran goes back into ancient time. Iranian pottery production presents a continuous history from the beginning of Iranian history until the present day. In modern days Iranian artist have added MeēnaKari into their pottery works and brought the two oldest form of art together. These precious dishes/Ceēnies are prepared in kilns of over 800 to 1000 degrees centigrade temperature to assure their color and texture longevity for over 100 years even when the deco tiles are exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, water and other weather conditions.
